2012 Track Workout Series

Join us for Tuesday night track workouts at the CBA track.

In 2012, Bennett Running will host workouts at the CBA Outdoor Track on Tuesdays from 6-7 PM for 10 weeks.
Schedule  :: Tuesday, May 22 will be our first workout.  We will meet each Tuesday evening through July 24.  One Exception :: June 19th’s practice will be moved to Thursday, June 21.  Please be ready to warm up promptly at 6pm.
Cost ::  We are charging a nominal fee in 2012.  For the price of a fancy coffee, you can get a great workout!

    • Prepaid package :: $50 gives you access to all 10 workouts.   Pass is not transferable or refundable.
    • Family pass :: $100 for members of the same household/immediate family gives you access to all 10 workouts. Sorry, this doesn’t include friends or neighbors.  Pass is not transferable or refundable.
    • Drop-in fee :: $7 per workout.
    • Late signups :: if you signup after June 15 for a prepaid package, pass will cost $30 for the last 5 workouts.

Who :: You, of course!  Open to all ages and abilities.  We will group people according to ability once we see who shows up. Bring your spouse, your kids and your friends and spend a fun and healthy hour together.  Children under age 14 must be accompanied by  a parent or guardian.  In 2011, we had very beginning runners all the way up to very competitive runners.  It is a very supportive group and we encourage everyone to cheer each other along.  We’re all in this together!
What :: Open Running Workouts at the CBA Track. We’ll provide the workout. You provide the effort!  Last year we did a different workout each time.  The intervals varied in distance and intensity, from 100s to a mile.  We start with a group warmup + stretch, then move on to the workout, and finish up with a cool down.

How do I sign up? :: Fill out the online form here and then send a check to Bennett Running, 716 Newman Springs Road, Suite 348, Lincrof, NJ 07738.  You can also arrive a few minutes early on Tuesday May 22 to sign up.
Additional and Important Information :: Please park in the Henderson Theatre lot and walk up to the track. Please DO NOT park at De LaSalle Hall.  Plan on starting promptly at 6:00 PM. We will provide water but feel free to bring your own. Chris (CBA Coach) and Tammie Bennett will lead the workouts each Tuesday night.
Inclement Weather :: Unless there are thunderstorms or excessive temperatures, we will still hold the workouts.  We will still run even in the rain.  If we do decide to cancel, we will post a note around 4pm on our facebook page and our blog. Otherwise, we look forward to seeing you at the track!
